ABOUT US

The Gower Golf Club was formed in 1995, by founders John and Olwen Richards and
their son Adrian. Prior to this date it was a successful dairy farm producing pedigree
dairy cows. The Richards name was synonymous with achievement in the
farming community.

In the years since that time, the Golf Club has transformed from the original farm
buildings to an established clubhouse facility while the course is often acclaimed as
being mature beyond its years.

Sadly in 2000 founder Mr John Richards passed away but his legacy lives on &
Adrian Richards is now the backbone of the club.He is fully committed to maximising
the potential as a golf venue and providing a top-quality facility in West Wales.

With 2 "Golfing Union of Wales" national events in 2007 and the newly founded
"Celtic Professional Tour" & "West Wales Open" there is no doubt that Gower is evolving into a great Welsh destination for golf and all associated activities.
