Alan Williamson has been a full member of the British P.G.A since 1992.
After four years of full time teaching in Germany he perfected the technical aspects
of the golf swing. From 1993, Alan was a member of the South African Tour.
Alan has been the head Professional at the Gower Golf Club since June 1999.

Teaching
There is nothing worse than being bogged down by technical jargon that ties the
pupil in knots and takes about three years of hard practice to get back to square
one. At The Gower Golf Club we have a much more practical and natural approach
to teaching. We make it easy to understand and therefore easy to do. We are
proud to boast you will improve almost immediately and have a much sounder
knowledge of your golf swing.

Coaching
Intensive Junior Coaching Weeks

We are running intensive coaching during the summer holidays, this gives
children the opportunity to learn the basics of the game and have fun doing so.

All age groups and abilities welcome, lunch included daily.

Gower Golf Club is also a Golf Foundation Starter Centre
If you are not a member of a golf club or if you have never played golf before,
this is the place to start. Alan Williamson Golf and the Gower Golf Club aim to
make getting into golf both fun and inexpensive. We offer courses for beginners
and non members which not only give you a sound introduction to the basics of
the golf swing, but also allows you to play on the Gower Golf Course.

Learn the rules and etiquette and pick up playing tips with the golf professional.

In our well stocked Professional Shop, the equipment to get started is also
inexpensive. For example, a full set of Irons and Woods, Putter, Bag, Tees,
balls and golf shoes (everything you need!), for only £179:00 Ideal for your first
few years of golf. Alan Williamson golf at the Gower Golf Club offer the only custom
fitting centre in the area exclusively for junior golfers.
